Arrived at work today and noticed a new paste up by Show & Tell Gallery artist fauxreel across from the gallery. This piece is from a recent series he is working on dealing with the staggering homeless problem in Toronto. Acting as his way of giving them a voice, each of the people fauxreel has photographed has written a message which directly relates to their situation or expresses their thoughts on homelessness.Williams sign reads "Without a phone number getting housing is like a big game of cat and mouse"

Keep an eye out for more examples around Toronto, he has worked with 15+ people so more of these will definitely be popping up around the city. Hopefully this project will bring some much needed attention to the issue.
